Various programs for Mac OS X PowerPC (obsolete)

mentMcOsX.tgz
=============
Title: Gnu-zipped tar-file containing Maximum Entropy Tomography for the Mac OS X.

Tested with Mac OS X Version 10.3.2 and X11 1.0 - XFree86 4.3.0
Transfer this file into some empty folder of your Mac. Open a
Terminal window and run "tar xvzf mentMcOsX.tgz" in this folder
(tgz stands for tar.gz). All needed files for "MENT for MacOsX"
will be expanded into this directory.
Note1: mentstart.command (path has to be edited) and ment.icns make
it possible to launch MENT from the Dock on the desktop.
Note2: Do not forget to put "set DISPLAY :0.0" and "export DISPLAY=:0.0"
in e.g. your .profile file. Otherwise the graphics will not work.



traMcOsX.tgz
============
Title: Gnu-zipped tar-file containing Transport for the Mac OS X.

Tested with Mac OS X Version 10.3.2 and X11 1.0 - XFree86 4.3.0
Transfer this file into some empty folder of your Mac. Open a
Terminal window and run "tar xvzf traMcOsX.tgz" in this folder
(tgz stands for tar.gz). All needed files for "Transport for MacOsX"
will be expanded into this directory.
Note1: Besides X11 (from Apple) tcltk and xemacs (e.g. from http://
fink.sourceforge.net/index.php) are needed.
Note2: transstart.command (path has to be edited) and trans.icns make
it possible to launch Transport from the Dock on the desktop.
Note3: Do not forget to put "set DISPLAY :0.0" and "export DISPLAY=:0.0"
in e.g. your .profile file. Otherwise the graphics will not work.
